YASKAWA showcased its Futuristic Automation Solutions at Intec’19 in collaboration with its business partner
The President of YASKAWA Electric Corporation (YEC) Mr. Junji Tsuda paid a visit to the newly set up AC Drives assembling plant in Bangalore. He was accompanied by Mr. Yoshiki Tomiyama, President, YASKAWA India.
Establishing an assembling plant in Bangalore is one of the many initiatives by YASKAWA Electric Corporation to expand the business operations in Asia under “Challenge 100”.
Mr. Junji Tsuda explained the importance of starting the facility in India in August 2010. The main objective is to become more cost competitive in Indian market and provide even better services to customers. YASKAWA India plans to increase annual output capacity of the AC drive 1000 series, its main product, to 40,000 units.
During his visit, he stressed on the importance of maintaining the positive working environment and to participate actively in the continuing formation of the company’s global network.
YASKAWA Electric Corporation, headquartered in Kitakyushu in Japan, is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of AC drives, Servos and industrial robots which are used to control the speed of electric motors and optimize the productivity and maximize energy efficiency.
