On 20th June 2022, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated 150 Industrial Training Institutes to the nation in the state of Karnataka, which have been upgraded into technology hubs by Tata Technologies and the Karnataka state government. YASAKAWA INDIA is delighted to be a part of this ground-breaking initiative as the robotics & automation solution provider.

Interacting with ITI students, Honourable Prime Minister spent some time at YASKAWA booth and showed keen interest in the Welding and Handling robots on display.

In all these 150 ITI’s, Advanced technology labs have been established in Additive manufacturing, electric vehicles, industrial robotics with arc welding and handling, product design and verification, internet of things, industrial automation, and advanced plumbing. Every year, 60,000 students in long-term courses and 120000 students in short-term courses are undergoing training in these ITIs.

We believe that this initiative by the Karnataka State government and Tata Technologies will certainly contribute to the Prime Ministers’ vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and reinforce Make inIndia goals.
