Regarding the expression [√sin^2θ + cos^2θ], Sin θ is the single-track (phase B) output from the encoder and Cos θ is the single-track (phase A) output from the encoder.

This function is enabled when F1-20 = 1 [Encoder 1 PCB Disconnect Detect = Enabled].
