The procedure in this section shows how to set the date and time.

Note:
  • Refer to Replace the Keypad Battery for information about the battery installation procedure.

    To set the drive to detect an alarm when the battery is dead or when the clock is not set, install the battery then set o4-24 = 1 [bAT Detection selection = Enable (Alarm Detected)].

  • If the keypad does not have a clock battery, you must set the date and time each time you energize the drive.

  1. Push [F2 Key] (Home) to show the HOME screen.
    Note:
    • When the drive is in HOME Mode, the screen shows [Home] in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

    • If [Home] is not shown on [F2 Key], push [F1 Key] (Back) to show [Home] on [F2 Key].

  2. Push [F2 Key] (Menu).
  3. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select [Initial Setup], then push [ENTER Key].
  4. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select [Set Date/Time], and push [ENTER Key].
  5. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select the format of date display, then push [ENTER Key].
  6. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select the format of time display, then push [ENTER Key].
  7. Push [LEFT Key] or [RIGHT Key] to select the Year/Month/Day, then push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to change the value.
  8. When you are done changing the value, push [ENTER Key].
  9. Push [LEFT Key] or [RIGHT Key] to select the hour or minute, then push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to change the value.
  10. When you are done setting the time, push [ENTER Key].
