You can back up parameters on the keypad and write them to different drives.

Note:
  • Always stop the drive before you start to restore the parameter backups.

  • While you verify parameters, the drive will not accept Run commands.

  1. Push [F2 Key] (Home) to show the HOME screen.
    Note:
    • When the drive is in HOME Mode, the screen shows [Home] in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

    • If the screen does not show [Home] for [F2 Key], push [F1 Key] (Back), and then push [F2 Key] to show [Home].

  2. Push [F2 Key] (Menu).
  3. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select [Parameter Backup/Restore], then push [ENTER Key].
  4. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select the item to restore, then push [ENTER Key].
  5. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select [Restore (keypad → drive)], then push [ENTER Key].
  6. Push [Up arrow key] or [Down arrow key] to select the backed-up parameter data, then push [ENTER Key].

The keypad will show the “End” message when the write process is complete.

The keypad display changes when the settings and conditions change.

  • A1-02 [Control Method Selection] settings
  • o2-04 [Drive Model (KVA) Selection] settings (2 or 3 digits)
  • Presence of DriveWorksEZ parameter backup
  • Parameter backup data is not registered
  • Backup data does not contain the date Information
  • Backup date
